Our Weaving and Knitting departments are seeking a highly skilled mechanic to add to our team. Candidates should have strong mechanical and electronic skills with industrial machinery along with the ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities/Duties:

Responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of industrial electronics on machinery.

Diagnoses and repairs looms and knitting machine malfunctions as reported by operators

Assures that start-ups and restarts are as prompt as possible

Completes and ensures that documentation is accurate

Ensures that correct machine settings are carried out for qualities and product specifications

Provides and checks samples prior to production including new start-ups

Monitors quality from looms and knitting machines as well as makes department walk thru to visually spot check edge formation, width, and general appearance of product

Checks and repairs machinery thus providing preventative maintenance

Makes appropriate adjustments to machines in absence of operators

5 years of experience as a mechanic

4 day work week – Monday thru Thursday
